We want to update you on the latest developments concerning the proposed Drem-Gullane path.
Consultants Stantec, appointed by East Lothian Council earlier this year, started work at Drem in April. This has involved gathering village traffic flow and speed data.
The consultants have also prepared a number of potential outline designs which may give an engineering solution for the 100 metre stretch entering the village, which will allow safe access for cyclists and pedestrians travelling to Drem station.
Our campaign will meet council officers and Stantec reps soon to discuss the design options and decide on next steps. We will provide a further update on the outcome of those discussions.
